Gerard has worked for BUCHI for 17 years: a company that develops high-end laboratory equipment and operates worldwide. BUCHI's motto is "Quality in your hands". And when it comes to a pleasant office, at Business Centre it is also "Quality in your hands". We asked Gerard why he chose Business Centre and which facilities really stand out for him.

Time for a new workplace

Gerard and his team used to rent a nice office too, with an office employee who made sure all deliveries arrived and were shipped. So why move? "Our machines used to stand in the middle of the office, which you can imagine is not ideal. On top of that, all colleagues were easily 45 minutes on the road. A place closer to everyone's home was very welcome."

How did you get in touch with Business Centre?

"That's a funny story," Gerard smiles. "I had already made a top 3 by simply googling, until I found out that Daniel is the owner of Business Centre. My partner is from Etten-Leur, so I had spoken to Daniel several times at birthdays of mutual friends, not knowing he was the owner. The step to get in touch was very small."

Which facilities stand out for you?

"Location, storage and full service. These three points were very important to us and decisive in our choice. Most colleagues are on the road a lot visiting customers, so it is great that there is a reception that can accept orders for us or create a shipping order." The office also has good climate control and enough free parking, something you see less and less in Breda. Another plus for Gerard is that he can invite his entire sales team, or even give presentations for 30 people. "There are plenty of meeting rooms you can book, which makes it possible to invite 1, 2 or 10 people."

You have been renting at Business Centre for about a year and a half now. What can you say about that?

"I am very satisfied. Products no longer have to be in the office, deliveries are always accepted and everything keeps running, even when everyone is on the road. This space offers all the elements that are essential for us. And Daniel is a very pleasant person to deal with, which really helps."

What does the future of BUCHI at Business Centre look like?

"The ambition to grow is certainly there, but that does not mean the number of people in this office will increase right away. Looking at what we need and what this office gives us, I am sure we will be fine here for the next ten years. I can say that with confidence."
