Azalp

Azalp is an internet company that sells garden sheds, saunas and log cabins, among other things. Co-founder Peter-Jan Broeders started the company in 1998 literally from the attic. As the company grew, things had to be formalized and Azalp chose a branch address at Business Centre.

"We didn't have an office at that time," Peter-Jan explains. "But when we were in the process of determining the legal form, the question also arose of what our registered address would be. Because we wanted to keep our private address truly private, we chose to take a branch address at Business Centre."

No visiting address
Azalp has no showroom or public visiting address. "We deliberately chose that, because we want to be and remain an Internet company. We do have an Experience Center where customers can view a cross section of our products, but we only communicate that address once an appointment has been made. This way we can give customers all the attention and time they need. We also clearly communicate on our website that the address at Bredaseweg in Etten-Leur is not our Experience Center. However, it has happened in the past that someone was standing at the counter of Business Centre before us. That person had come from Spain because he wanted to buy garden sheds. He was then kindly addressed by the reception staff at Business Centre."

Satisfied with business address
Azalp has outgrown the attic room for some time now. "We now work from an office, but it never really occurred to us to give up our familiar business address at Business Centre. Our mail is neatly kept separate so that we can collect it and we have good contacts with the employees at the Bredaseweg. We are very satisfied there. So why should we change it?"
