In addition to his work as a training instructor, Thuké is an entrepreneur in the field of healthy lifestyles, vitality and health. He explains: "In addition to my work as a training instructor at Curio and Habeo+, I am in the process of phasing out my salaried job to focus fully on my own company: Business Vitality Academy." His focus is now mainly on business coaching and one-to-one lifestyle coaching. This includes fitness tests and working with HR to look at absenteeism: everything that ensures that staff remain fit and healthy.‘ He adds enthusiastically: "In the future, I also want to create e-learning courses and become a training institute."

Did you previously rent office space as well?

‘I've been working as an entrepreneur for some time now,’ says Thuké. He has big plans for next year, so it was time to look for a professional space. Thuké adds: ‘I will continue to work as a training instructor for one or two days a week because I really enjoy it, but from the new year onwards, I will be focusing on my own business. So this is the first time I will be renting commercial space.’

Why did you not choose to work from home?

‘The most important thing was visibility and professionalism,’ he begins. ‘I now have a space on the ground floor, which makes me freely accessible to everyone. It's also nice to have my own separate space for my professional measuring instruments and where I can receive people in a clean environment.’

Why did you choose Business Centre?

I discovered this space through an online platform. The advertisement immediately appealed to me. During the viewing, I received a very warm welcome. They really took the time to explain everything and think along with me. The location, abundance of natural light and all-inclusive concept were decisive factors for Thuké. ‘Everything is included, from furniture to reception. Even though I don't use everything right away, it's nice to know that there are many possibilities. In addition, the location is easily accessible for people from Etten-Leur and beyond.’

Do you receive clients and hold meetings?

"Yes, absolutely. I receive clients for one-on-one coaching, intake interviews, measurements, and business discussions about vitality and corporate fitness. The space is more than suitable for this. Other than that, I mainly work alone in the office, but I collaborate a lot with other professionals such as physiotherapists, educational institutions, companies, and I even have plans to work with a chef on a vitality project for primary schools."

What does this office space offer you?

"The greatest advantage is visibility. When I first met Daniel, I told him about my plans and he immediately helped me find the right connections within the building. The chances of B2B collaborations are simply greater here."

You will not officially move in until the new year, but what can you say about the collaboration at this point?

"I am very satisfied. Although my contract does not start until the new year, I have already received the key and have been to my office several times. It is very nice that this is possible."

How does this space fit in with the future of Business Vitality Academy?

"My business is developing rapidly. The great thing is that I'm not stuck here. As I grow, I can scale up to a larger space. That makes Business Centre future-proof for me."
