Time for a new workplace

Previously, Gerard and his team also rented a nice office, with an office assistant who ensured that all deliveries arrived and were shipped correctly. So why move? ‘Previously, our machines were in the middle of the office, which, as you can imagine, was not ideal. In addition, all our colleagues had a commute of around 45 minutes. A location closer to everyone's home was very desirable.’

How did you come into contact with Business Centre?

‘That's a funny story,’ smiles Gerard. "I had already made a top 3 list by simply Googling, until I found out that Daniel owns Business Centre. My partner is from Etten-Leur, so I had spoken to Daniel several times at mutual friends' birthday parties, not knowing that he was the owner. So it was a very small step to get in touch.

Which facilities stand out for you?

‘Location, storage and full service. These three points were very important to us and decisive in our choice. Most of our colleagues are often on the road visiting customers, so it's great that there is a reception desk that can take orders for us or create delivery orders.’ In addition, the office has good climate control and ample free parking, something that is becoming increasingly rare in Breda. Another advantage Gerard sees is that he can invite his entire sales team or even give presentations for 30 people. ‘There are plenty of meeting rooms that you can reserve, which makes it possible to invite 1, 2 or even 10 people.’

You have been renting from Business Centre for about 1.5 years now. What can you say about that?

I am very satisfied. Products no longer need to be stored in the office, deliveries are always accepted and everything continues to run smoothly, even when everyone is out and about. This space offers everything we need. What's more, Daniel is a very pleasant person to deal with, which really makes a difference.

How do you see Buchi's future at Business Centre?

Buchi's motto is ‘Quality in your hands’. When it comes to a pleasant office space, it's ‘quality in your hands’. We asked Gerard why he chose Business Centre and which facilities really stand out for him. ‘We certainly have ambitions to grow, but that doesn't mean that the number of people here in the office will increase immediately. When I look at what we need and what this office space offers us, I am confident that we will be fine here for the next ten years. I can say that with confidence.’
